Description

The majority of the aquatic species cannot synthesize vitamin C because of the lack of the enzyme, L-gluconolactone oxidase, which is necessary for the last step of vitamin C biosynthesis. Consequently many Aquatic animals are dependent on constant supplementation of Vitamin C through the feed. Vitamin C (L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (APP) is a powerful antioxidant and its diet supplementation can improve growth, survival, feed efficiency, moulting, stress resistance, collagen formation, iron metabolism, reproduction, wound healing and immune response in shrimp

DOSAGE/METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Shrimp/Prawn: 5 G/Kg of feed.Fish: 500g/ton of feed. Or as advised by qualified aquaculture practitioner Mix the recommended quantity of MEGA-C with 200 ML of water then coat the feed and shade dry for 10 minutes and apply binder befor feeding shrimp.
